June 2023 Bird Walk

Meet at 8 AM at Potholes State Park, at the first parking area past the Camp Host site. Bring your Discover Pass and binoculars. All ages welcome. No dogs please. We plan to walk about 2 miles or so during the event. We will be standing, watching and listening for birds much of the time. A diversity of bird species is to be found: Swallows, Ducks, Grebes, Terns, Great Horned Owl, Great Blue Heron, Hawks and more! Experienced birders will be along to assist in bird ID.
