About the event

Today, Thursday, June 27th, I am updating this event. I have Covid and may not be able to make it. Shiraz Vira has agreed to be the leader, and will meet you at the Northrop Point trail head. He has birded this area several times. No one will be meeting at Winco as previously planned. Meet at Northrop Point at 8:45 AM. There is cell coverage and restrooms at Northrop Point. The group will bird there, then drive across highway 155 and drive up the gravel road to Northrop Canyon Trailhead. No cell service at the canyon, but there is a port-a-potty. We will look for birds in the parking lot, then perhaps hike the trail to the trees. We may walk about 1 mile. Bring Discover Pass, food, water, bug spray. Wear long pants and boots. No dogs please. Departure to return to Moses Lake will be about 12:00 PM. Maps and other info will be added to this event.
